Frankfurt

Wednesday 18th July
Big day. Up at 4.00 for breakfast then drive to Ft St John with Anne who has looked after us so well. Zou are lovely Anne. 9 am flight to Vancouver. 4 pm flight to Frankfurt where we arrive at 10.00 am. Hotel. Walk around old city. Lunch with live flute and violin music.  Walk and try to stay awake.Not very successful but keep trying. Dinner very nice but sleep would be nicer. More walking. Back to hotel. Bed. Yay! Asleep.
 
 
Thursday 19th July
Awake at 3.00 am. Off for a walk along river at 6.00 and back for alovely bread, cheese, ham and tomato breakfast at 7.30. #

you have to do these things when you are a nana, eggie, or you miss your chance. its partly business, partly to see friends.

Are you planning to visit my sewing room again Frances? the quilt you did looks great!

I am thinking about going out on Sunday. Now that I have the elemental challenge finished I am appliqueing leaves on the raffle quilt. Rae B has done one side panel we are getting there!

Ken won again today :) A $100k race at New Plymouth the Opunake Cup. Colin is chuffed. We will get about $6k

Goes to the south island at the end of July with the race down there on August 4th.
