Spring Mini Progress?
This is what I'm doing! I'm not happy with the way the Spring mini is going. I'm having second thoughts - again... The fabric I chose for the broderie perse didn't really sing with the background fabrics. I might save that background for another project and make a fresh start. I've designed a Spring Flower Vase - more along the lines of the Autumn mini I made for the first part of this Four Season's Quilt Swap. What do you think of this?

love the border, blue background, greenery, and especially the berries. I absolutely love the fall quilt, but they are also my favorite colors.

Oh, that is so pretty. I love your design and the colors too. I am impressed by how much thought and how elaborate design you put unto this small quilt. Your fall quilt was also beautiful. Your love of your garden is reflected in your quilting! Flowers is also an important part of spring around here. I would like one day to get into appliké.

Thanks Marit - we are very fortunate in this country with our climate, and we live amongst constant greenery and we also have the space for lovely gardens. The applique on this design will be all raw edge, machine sewn - I'm don't do much hand work!v
