Spring Mini Progress - yes!

Yayy! I've spent the morning sewing the Four Seasons Spring Swap quilt. As you can see from the picture I posted last, I couldn't find the right fabric to do the colours I had planned but I think its looking pretty good. I still have to sew the 2 in squares of the border and do the applique flowers and leaves. Still, its a good start.

And this afternoon we're taking time off to spend with our friends, playing catan, catching up on the goss and eating bad stuff.

It is a beautiful quilt - I am sure the recipient will love it. I changed my mind several times as well before settling on my idea. It's hard to make a quilt for someone else.

Oh boy! I think it's looking beautiful. As you can see from my blog entry, I made an entire mini-quilt before I decided to keep it for myself and start completely over! Thank you for visiting me. I am trying to get around to visit all the 4 Seasons quilters, but it is difficult to find the time.
God bless.

Thank you everyone for your compliments. No Helen, the weekend was not relaxing and No Lisa, I didn't get any applique done - I had two little grand-daughters (and their mother) to entertain me! And this week I will be concentrating on getting the Cotton-On Quilt club banner finished so there won't be much more progress on this little quilt for a week or so...
